Reasons to Give

1. Because you don’t have to be a millionaire to affect change. Being an FGP member costs $1.90/week. That’s WAY less than you spend on coffee. But, all those coffees add up - In our first year, we made an $8,000 grant to a local group doing amazing work in our community.

The Frederick Giving Project Fund is a component fund of The Community Foundation of Frederick County, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. This means that The Frederick Giving Project Fund comes under the governance of the Community Foundation’s Board of Trustees and it also comes under the Community Foundation’s tax-exempt status. Gifts to The Frederick Giving Project Fund are tax deductible to the furthest extent permitted by law.
